From information on favorite books, TV series or movies to history, science, etc., there is also information on the difficult subject of breaking teeth. Looking at the quality of the information or the depth of the content, it seems that only experts can get the opportunity to write here! But the funny thing is, the rules of Wikipedia are very simple from birth - anyone can contribute here. This vast store of knowledge has been formed through the small contributions of everyone!

Many may be shocked to hear that anyone can contribute. Anyone who can add information to Wikipedia can add incorrect information? What will happen then? Does that mean that many of the theories that we have so far considered being irrefutably true are wrong?

That is not the case. Just five years after Wikipedia was founded, an article was published in the world-renowned journal Nature about Wikipedia. The English language articles featured in it have become almost the equivalent of an encyclopedia-like the Centennial Encyclopedia Britannica!

How is this possible? Anyone can contribute to Wikipedia, regardless of race, religion, caste, or age, but no one will be able to intentionally add incorrect information. The Wikipedia article has to be accompanied by relevant references. Those references can be reliable and verifiable media like national dailies, books, science periodicals. Wikipedia volunteers regularly look at various articles to see if the newly added information is correct. Since Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, it is important to note that in order to create articles here. That means I can't write articles about myself, my parents, or my favorite pets if I want to. Even if written, they will be deleted. Instead, I can write about any subject of history or science, famous movies, TV series, favorite cricket/football team/club, country, district, Upazila, etc.

Many articles have already been created, and it is very important to add information to them and make them quality. Those who are reading this article at the moment can take a quick look to see if there is enough information in the Bengali Wikipedia article about your own district! If not, you can add information by clicking the 'Edit button at the top of the webpage! It is better if you can create an account beforehand. You will also find the 'Create Account' option on the right and next side of the screen. And yes, don't forget to add the source of the information! Many people are scared at first, what will happen if I make a mistake! For them, Wikipedia's generous call is, 'Be brave!' If you find a mistake somewhere while reading, feel free to correct it, there is no reason to be afraid of being new.
